Duties Of Muridu {Follower} On The Path Of Tariqah

As Mureeds, it is our utmost duty and obligation to learn more about our Grandmaster Maulana Shaykh Ahmad Tijani رضي الله عنه. With this, we'll be able to evaluate our lives by measuring ours and taking his Noble lifestyle as a standard. This will answer the question: "Are we really the Mureed we ought to be?"

It is said that the children of the family are expected to follow in the footsteps of their father, the head of the house. If the Tijani Tariqah is likened to a family, Maulana Shaykh Tijani رضي الله عنه is the head of the family and as his followers, we are expected to follow ardently and sincerely in the ways of our Noble Examplar.

In summary, Maulana Shaykh Tijani رضي الله عنه is a Beautiful Manifestation of the Beauty of the Shariah (the Qur'an and the Hadith) at its peak. This he proved by his statement:

'Whenever you hear anything from me, measure it with the Qur'an and the Hadith. If they are not in line, reject them and do not follow me"

The sayings, behavior, actions and every single detail of Maulana Shaykh Tijani رضي الله عنه represents the Beauty of the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Noble Prophet ﷺ
May the Infinite Pleasure of Almighty Allah continue to be upon him in every moment. By its effect, may we all live beautiful lives and die beautiful deaths with beautiful resurrections awaiting us as Mureeds of Maulana Shaykh Tijani رضي الله عنه. Aameen!
