________________

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful All praise and thanks belongs to Allah, The Lord of the worlds.

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the most Nobleof the Messengers (SAWS). To my beloved brethren and to His Excellence (President Moktar wuld Daddah?),

As-SalaamuAlaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh! I wish to express my extreme gratitude to the people/nation of Mauritania and its leaders and government for my hospitable reception all for the love of the Essence of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He!,and His Deen.

There is no doubt that this is a country of Muslims, as is witnessed from its leaders, government and people!

So again we are thankful for the honorable welcome which has been shown to us by the President, members of thegovernment and the people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

There is no doubt that a Muslim is the brother/sister of his fellow Muslim and that they form a single hand. The Muslims are
likened unto a single cemented structure, or like a single body! It is no wonder then, that a Muslim should show honor and
respect for his Muslim brethren, and I am indebted to you with thanksgiving and admiration.

The people of Mauritania have
been coming to visit us (in Medina-Baye, Senegal) with grace and kindness, and today we are coming to honor you and
share with you in this dignified occasion of Independence!

I have been praying for you all with Du‟a in the particularlyhonored hours of the night in which Allah answers prayer! For surely, there are times and places on the earth belonging toAllah, in which He will answer supplications made therein.

There is a (special) time that each servant has in which Allah will answer his prayer and that time is when the servant
isolates himself alone in a private place with Allah Ta‟ala! In truth, there have been times when I have prayed for you in my
private and alone times to the point where I have intended to pray for you before my own parents except that the
Lawgiver has legislated their preeminence and Allah is Well-Aware of that!

This government, which has declared itself an
“Islamic Republic” in the 20th century, is sparking a light in this Age and we are thankful for this courageous endowment.
We are very proud of the youth of this century (for doing this) in the face of France, Britain, and America and all of themare filled with rage on account of this! This is indeed, a very serious matter as far as I am concerned.

I ask that His Excellency accept my gratitude and my supplications on behalf of the leaders of the Islamic Republic, for we
are a single hand and we are brethren in this life and the life to come Insha‟Allah.

We also are not unmindful of the things
we are witnessing in this time of the Jewish (Zionist) aggression and imperialism against our Arab brothers. We ask that
Allah Ta‟ala support and strengthen the Muslims and the Arabs until the land of Palestine is liberated and that the rights ofthe people are returned, by the Grace of Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He!

We are also sending greetings from the people ofSenegal, who are indeed brothers of the Mauritanians! In fact, these two are not two separate people, but are one single
nation! As-Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!
_________
ON TAQWA:
_________
All praise and thanks belongs to Allah! There is a cause and reason for every gathering which takes place, and we are
companions in the love of Allah (Fi Dhat Allah)-- Glorious & Exalted is He!

Therefore, I am advising myself and all of you tohave conscious awareness (Taqwa) of Allah openly and in private and this is a counsel, which if followed, is a guarantor
for the obtainment of everything sought for, in this life and the life to come!

Taqwa is the key to the obtainment of everything sought for in this life and the next, outwardly and inwardly! The first thingmade obligatory upon a Believer is the acquisition of knowledge and Taqwa is the key to acquiring knowledge.

Allah Ta‟alasays, “Have conscious awareness of Allah and Allah will teach you. And Allah is the Knower of everything!”(2:182).

Sowhosoever desires knowledge let him have Taqwa of Allah Ta‟ala!

Imam ash-Shafi‟ (RA) wrote a poem which contains this meaning:
“I complained of having a poor memory and I was guided to abandon disobedience.

I was told that "knowledge is a light‟, and the Light of Allah is not given to a disobedient person!”

Taqwa is to obey the commands and to avoid the prohibitions of Allah, outwardly and inwardly. I also say that Taqwa is to
fear abandoning what Allah has made obligatory upon you and to fear doing what Allah has forbidden to you. The righteous
person (Taqi) is the one who fears to do what Allah has prohibited or to abandon what He has commanded.

Taqwa is theguarantor (Kafil) for the obtainment of everything which is hoped for by the servant of Allah whether it is Sainthood(Wilaya) or otherwise. Allah says, “No doubt! Verily, the Awliya of Allah--no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.

Those who believed and used to be consciously aware of Allah.”(10:62-63).

Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) has says in this respect:
“If the right acting scholars are not the Friends of Allah, then Allah has no Friends!”

Whosoever believes in Allah and obeys the commands and avoids the prohibitions of Allah is among the Friends of Allah
those whom no fear shall come upon, nor shall they grieve!

They shall have no grief either in this life or the next! If theservant of Allah is seeking to receive glad tidings in this life and the next, that is for the Friends of Allah! “For them are glad
tidings, in the life of the present world and in the Hereafter.

No change can there be in the Word of Allah. This is indeed theSupreme success!” (10:64).

The Messenger of Allah(SAWS) was questioned about the identity of those described in theverse "no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.” and he replied, “They are a people coming from various tribes(not related to each other) who meet and gather for the sake of Allah.

O people! Listen, understand and know it well. Allahhas servants who are neither Prophets nor martyrs and whom the Prophets and martyrs yearn to be like, due to theirproximity to the Real.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went on to describe their great reward on the Day ofResurrection: “By Allah, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light.

They will feel no fear when the people will
be feeling fear, and they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.”

Then he (peace and blessings be upon him)
read the verse: “Behold! Verily on the Friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Yunus 10:62). Reported by
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and the Musnad of Ahmad.

Loving (each other) for the sake of Allah is a great matter, and I call you to bear witness that I love you all for the sake of
Allah, just as I bear witness that you love me for the sake of Allah.

Verily, Allah servants who will be under His Shade on a Day in which there is no shade but His! There are seven groups of people who will be under the Shade of His „Arsh on theDay of Judgment:
1.) A just leader.
2.) A youth who grew up in the obedience Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
3.) A person whose heart is attached to the Masjid from the time he leaves it until hereturns.
4.) A man who refuses the advancements of a beautiful woman (for illegal sexual
intercourse), and says: 'I fear Allah'.
5.) A person who remembers Allah so much that he cries tears.
6.) A person who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity.
7.) Two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, Glorious and Exalted is He!

(Hadith narrated by Abu Hurayra(RA)
and reported in Sahih al-Bukhari vol.1, p.356, no.629 and Sahih Muslim vol.2, p.493, no.2248)

The easiest to attain and most meritorious is the last group. Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said, “A man is with whom he
loves.” Ibn Jarir narrated that Sa`id bin Jubayr (RA) said, "An Ansari man came to the Messenger of Allah while feeling sad.

The Prophet said to him, `Why do I see you sad?' He said, `O Messenger of Allah! I was contemplating about something.'
The Prophet said, `What is it' The Ansari said, `We come to you day and night, looking at your face and sitting by you.

Tomorrow, you will be raised in the company of the Prophets, and we will not be able to see you.' The Prophet did not say
anything, until Jibril came to him with this Ayah,

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger then they will be in the
company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His Grace, among the Prophets, the Truthful, the martyrs, and the
righteous. How excellent these companions are!” and the Prophet sent the good news to the Ansari man.''

This Hadith wasnarrated in Mursal form from Masruq, `Ikrimah, `Amir Ash-Sha`bi, Qatadah and Ar-Rabi` bin Anas. This is the version withthe best chain of narrators.
In a Hadith collected in the Sahih and Musnad compilations, in Mutawatir form, narrated by several Companions that the
Messenger of Allah(SAWS) was asked about the person who loves someone but his status is not close to theirs.

He said, “Aman is with whom he loves.” Anas commented, "We never rejoiced in Islam at anything more than when we heard theMessenger of Allah say, „A man is with whom he loves.‟”

Verily, I love the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr and `Umar, and Ihope that Allah will resurrect me with them, even though I did not perform actions similar to theirs.'' All praise and thanksbelongs to Allah because we love them all as well!

We love men whom we are certain they are not from the inhabitants ofthe Hellfire! A man is with whom he loves! This is the hope we have for ourselves and for our beloveds.

Taqwa is the key to Paradise, which has been prepared for the Muttaqin! Taqwa is therefore the means to salvation from
the Hellfire. “There is not one of you but will have to pass over it (Sirat over Hell); this is the Decree which must be
accomplished.

Then We shall save those who used to be consciously aware of Allah and were dutiful to Him.” (19:71-72).

Taqwa is the means to a praiseworthy end. “That Home of the Hereafter, We shall assign to those who rebel not against the
Truth with prideful arrogance and make corruption in the earth. And the good end is for the Muttaqin.”(28:83).

Taqwa is theway out of difficulties and it is the key to provision and sustenance! “Whosoever is consciously aware of Allah and keeps hisduty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out from every difficulty, and He will provide him from (sources) he could never imagine. Whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him!”(65:3).

Taqwa is the key to ease and facilitation. “Whosoever is consciously aware of Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make
his matter easy for him.”(65:4). Taqwa is the means to obtain the forgiveness of Allah.

“Whosoever is consciously aware of
Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will expiate from him his sins, and will enlarge his reward.”(65:5).

Taqwa is the meansto obtain the Help of Allah. “But if you remain patient and have conscious awareness of Allah, not the least harm will theircunning do to you. Surely Allah surrounds all that they do.”(3:120).
_______________
ON THE THREE (3) “MEANS OF APPROACH” MENTIONED IN QUR‟AN:
_________________
Everything which we are seeking in this life and the Hereafter is to be found in Taqwa! Therefore I advise myself and all of
you to have the conscious awareness of Allah in pubic and private.

Again Taqwa is to obey the commands and avoid theprohibitions of Allah inwardly and outwardly. Allah Ta‟ala says, “O you who believe! Have conscious awareness of Allah andkeep your duty to Him, and seek the means of approach to Him.”(5:35).

Therefore, if you are desiring to acquire Taqwa youmust seek that which will connect you to its attainment, and there are three (3) Wasa‟il mentioned in the Holy Qur‟an:
1.) To follow the Messenger of Allah(SAWS) in all of his words and actions. Surely, this is a
“means of approach” to Allah, Glorious and Exalted is He! “Say to mankind: "If you(really) love Allah then follow me, and Allah will love you and forgive you your
sins. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”(3:31).

The Messenger of Allah(SAWS)
is saying that if you love Allah, then follow him!

Whosoever follows the Messenger in his
words and actions will obtain the love of Allah! Allah says in a Hadith Qudsi, “When I love
him, I become him.” If Allah loves someone He will become his hearing, his seeing, his
speaking, his hands and his feet! This is the beginning of Sainthood (Bidayat al-Wilaya)and this is the best “means of approach” (Wasila al-Wasila).

2.) The Holy Qur‟an itself is the second “means of approach”. The Remembrance of Allah,
Glorious & Exalted is He, has no other aim and purpose besides the Countenance of
Allah. “Keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and
evening, seeking His Face; and let not your eyes overlook them,

desiring thepomp and glitter of the life of this world; and obey not him whose heart We havemade heedless of Our Remembrance, and who follows his own lusts, and whoseaffair has been lost.” (18:28). In other words,

imprison your egos (Ahbasa Nafsuka)
along with those who remember Allah, morning and evening, and have no other
purpose (in this) but seeking His Face, Glorious & Exalted is He! Surely, this is a
“means of approach” which will connect the servant to Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He!

3.) Companionship with a Gnostic Saint („Arif Billah). Allah says, “And follow the path ofhim who turns to Me in repentance and obedience.”(31:15). Whosoever turns to
Allah in the totality of his spiritual states is to be considered an „Arif Billah,

because thereis nothing remaining of this person except Allah! So whosoever keeps the companionship of such a person will have found the “means of approach” which willconnect you to Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He!

The reality of “Existence” (Haqiqat al-Kawn) is (to be considered) everything other-than Allah; Existence and Man him-“self”, but Man desires union with Allah (al-Insan yurid al-Wusul ila Allah) although between him-“self” and Allah are veils (Hijab).

The “veil” which is blocking man is (only) “Existence” itself! If a person persists in the Dhikr of Allah, Glorious & Exalted is
He!, along with presence of heart, he will find “existence” vanishing from before him and he will attain union with Allah!

Hewill find “existence "like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water until he comes up to it, he finds it tobe nothing; but he finds Allah with him!”(24:39).

The “Greatest Shaykh” (Shaykh al-Akbar), Muhyideen ibn al‟Arabi alHatimi(RA) has said: “Whosoever has been enlightened to see „existence‟ (al-Kawn) as a mirage,
has surely been elevated (to see) beyond the veil!”

The Complete Shaykh (Shaykh al-Kamil) is the one who when a disciple comes to him seeking union with Allah the very
first thing he orders is to engage in abundant Dhikr of Allah until he attains the Presence of Allah,

according to the path ofthe annihilation of the ego (Tariqa al-Fana‟). That is because unless the servant experiences the extinction of himself in theEssence of Allah, he will never obtain the perfection of faith! For as long as the “veil” remains, there also remains a type ofpunishment which will overtake the servant.

“Nay! Surely, they will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day. Then verily,
they will indeed enter the burning flame of the Hellfire.”(83:15-16). So wherever there is the “veil”, there also is the
punishment! But if (the disciple) persists in the Dhikr of Allah, he will become annihilated (to existence)!
________

ON THE THREE (3) TYPES OF SPIRITUAL ANNIHILATION (FANA‟):
  _
1.) Annihilation in the Acts of Allah (Fana‟ fi‟l Af‟al).
2.) Annihilation in the Attributes of Allah (Fana‟ fi‟s Sifat).
3.) Annihilation in the Essence of Allah (Fana‟ fi‟l Dhat).
Many of the Believers have attained the station of annihilation in the Acts of Allah.

Whosoever knows that there is no “Doer”in existence except Allah, this is the one who is annihilated in the Acts of Allah. Indeed, many of the common believers haveobtained this degree of annihilation.

I told my students, in one of the lessons on Arabic Grammar, that the grammarians
say: “The Doer in reality is Allah, even if He engenders the action metaphorically by means of an agent, for the One Who
engenders the action is inseparable from the action performed.”

That is because it all is Allah! The “Doer” in reality is Allah(al-Fa‟il Haqiqatun) and the metaphorical agent (al-Fa‟il Majazan) who (appears) to “do” the action, is also Allah!

Whosoeverknows that there is no “Doer” in existence except Allah has attained the annihilation in the Acts of Allah in the Presence ofthe Acts of Allah (Fi Hadrat al-Af‟al)-- and this person has found some of the true Faith (which is required).

If the person attains the station of annihilation in the Attributes (Fana‟ fi‟s Siffat), he has indeed ascended to a higher
station. The Attributes of Allah are well-known to all of us, as we have studied the books of Tawhid which begin by
enumerating His (Essential) Attributes: 1.) Power (Qudrat)
2.) Will (Irada)
3.) Knowledge („Ilm)
4.) Life (Hayat)
5.) Hearing (Sami‟a)
6.) Seeing (Basar)
7.) Speech (Kalam)
When we have assigned each of these (Essential) Attributes of Allah to Him Alone, we have attained to the station of
annihilation in the Attributes of Allah.

The „Ulama have settled for us in our elementary teaching that there is no power, will, knowledge, life, hearing, seeing, or speech except that of Allah! Therefore, whosoever attains (the real knowledge of this)has arrived to the station of Fana‟ fi‟s Sifat!

If someone persists onward in Tarqiyya and is elevated beyond this, he will
attain to the station of annihilation in the Essence of Allah (Fana‟ fi‟l Dhat).
____
ON THE TRUE MEANING OF TAWHID & THE THREE (3) DEGREES OF SHAHADA:
__

When someone attains the station of annihilation in the Essence of Allah everything will vanish from him, until nothingremains except Allah! The tongue of the one in this state (Lisan al-Hal) will say, “Nothing remains except Allah, nothingbesides Him!

There is not in this place any attachment or intelligibility!” In this state is found the real meaning of La ilaha il
Allah!

This „Word of Oneness‟ (Kalima at-Tawhid) has a shell (Qishr) and a core (Lub) and the core of the core (Lub al-Lub)! The
“shell”, or general Oneness (Tawhid al-„Amm), has come in the Holy Qur‟an as: “Allah! There is no god but He.”(2:255), and
this, in truth, describes those who are absent (Ghaba) from Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He! They are absent from Him,

while He is never absent from them!
If a person continues traveling in Allah (Sayr) and makes Him their sole aim & purpose, they will arrive to the station of
presence with Allah (Hudur ma‟a Allah) and will begin to address Him in the way He is addressed during the Salat:

“You weworship and You we ask for help! Lead us to the Straight Path!”(1:5-6). He has thus come to the station of “La ilaha ilaAnta” and this has also come in the Holy Qur„an as:

“There is no god but You.” (21:87). If you complete the journey and
attain the station of annihilation in the Essence of Allah, you will find the only remaining Dhikr is “La ilaha ila Ana” and thishas also come in the Holy Qur‟an as: “There is no god but Me!”(20:14).

A person might find it strange to hear his brother saying “There is no god but Me!” and may assume this person to be
ascribing Divinity to himself,

while the truth is that the Real has spoken upon his tongue! He hears this Divine Speech justas his brother does, but it is only the Speech of Allah!

Allah spoke like this to Prophet Musa (AS)--on the tongue of a bush!

“And when he came to it (the burning bush), he was called by name: „O Musa! Verily, I am your Lord! So take off your
shoes, you are in the Sacred Valley, Tuwa.‟ I have chosen you, so listen to that which will be revealed (to you). Verily, I amAllah!

There is no god but Me, so worship Me and perform Salat for My Remembrance!” (20:11-14).

If Allah is Able to speak on the tongue of a bush and say, “There is no god but Me!”, surely He is Able to speak on the
tongue of a human being and say,

“Verily, I am Allah!” If a person attains the station of annihilation in the Essence of Allah they will surely know that there is nothing except Allah! This is the Pure Oneness (Tawhid al-Khalis) which is sought by theSufi people.

Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani(RA) is recorded as saying in Jawahir al-Ma‟ani: “The reality of Oneness (HaqiqatTawhid) you have not comprehended as long as you say „Existence‟ and „Allah‟!

Where is the Oneness if you affirm two?
There is no Tawhid until you have established absolute Oneness for Allah, by Allah, and to Allah! Until the servant finds no „entrance‟ and no ‟exit‟, and this is not possible except by traveling the Path of Annihilation (Tariq al-Fana‟).”

That is why thefirst thing which the „Arifin encourage their disciples to seek is this annihilation in Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He!

After this annihilation (in Allah) they continue to elevate the Murid until he attains the (annihilation) in the Shaykh, as he isan Attribute of Allah. What is desired from these two annihilations (in Allah & in the Shaykh) is that the servant will soon
come to the station where he will meet with the Messenger of Allah(SAWS) and the Shaykh(RA), and will know nothing else
after this Gnosis!

If a disciple continues to advance in their Tarqiyya they will come to have Direct Witnessing of the „nonexistence of things‟. An example of this „nonexistence of things‟ is seen in the cinema and movies we watch.
_______________
ON CINEMA AND FILM BEING AN EXAMPLE OF THE „NON-EXISTENCE OF THINGS‟:
___________________
The Arifin love that everyone should watch a movie at least one time (in your life) to witness something (of Reality) and to
gain certainty that this world is also non-existent!

For example, you see in the cinema what you believe to be „real‟, while in
truth you know it does not exist! The entirety of „existence‟ is just like a movie, for you think you are seeing what is „real‟
and that you are “doing” acts of goodness or avoiding acts of sin, but the truth of the matter is that Allah--Al-Wahid is theonly “Doer”

! After this realization, the heart of a Murid continues to elevate in the Presence of Allah, to the point where
whatever they see either in the state of wakefulness or sleep is understood to be (a manifestation of) Allah!

They come to know with certainty that the only Exitent Being is Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He!

They experience this DirectWitnessing without remaining in the station annihilation or while being spiritually intoxicated, but with the perfection ofwakefulness (Kamil al-Yaqazatan)!

They come to know the reality of things and give to everything its correct and due rankand position.

They know not to esteem something beyond its right, nor to belittle something less than its due.

They followafter goodness with the totality of their actions! They pray, fast, give charity out of their wealth, and perform thepilgrimage--all with the correct Adab of (Direct Witnessing) of Allah--knowing that He is the only “Doer”!

If a servant attains to this degree, they have become linked to Allah with a real connection, and they will do everything by
Allah, for Allah, and in Allah! If a servant does not travel this path of annihilation,

perhaps they may do something good
believing themselves to be the „doer‟, and having an aim and purpose other than the Face of Allah!

Or perhaps they willavoid doing wrong for fear of being humiliated, and neither of these two states is real worship.

Therefore, a servant has theabsolute need to have a real connection to Allah, Glorious & Exlated is He!, to certify that the entirety of his/her actions both the acts of obedience and avoidance are completely for the sake of Allah!

This is what is meant in the Holy Qur‟an
when Allah says, “They were only commanded to sincerely worship Allah, and abstain from ascribing partners to Him, and
to perform Salat and give Zakat, and verily, this is the right Deen.”(98:5).
Allah has commanded us to His worship with the prerequisite condition of sincerity!

Al-Ikhlas is to remove all partners in
your service to the Real, and your ego is among the partners & idols! Therefore, remove your „self‟ from the totality of youractions, and then do everything by Allah, for Allah, and in Allah!

The Holy Qur‟an is saying, “You (Alone) we worship and You (Alone) we ask for help! Lead us to the Straight Path!”(1:5-6). The Maqam of “Iyyaka Na‟budu” is the station of the
common believer (al-„Amm); while the Maqam of “Wa Iyyaka Nasta‟in” is the station of the spiritually elite (al-Khass).

TheMaqam of the Khas al-Khass is to say nothing at all!
_________
ON SALAT BEING THE STRONGEST BOND OF CONNECTION BETWEEN THE SERVANT AND ALLAH:

Salat is the strongest bond of connection between the servant and Allah, Glorious & Exalted is He! I therefore advise each
of you to reflect deeply while performing the Salat! Everything about the Salat is worship and a means of drawing close to
Allah.

Most of the Quranic recitation is sending perpetual praises unto the Most High, and the remainder is for your deep
reflection and humility before Allah in both your moments of rest and movements (throughout the various positions of
Salat).

Allah says in the Holy Qur‟an, “We have not created the Jinn or Mankind except to worship Me.”(51:56), meaning We
have created them with no other purpose other than to know Me!

Ibn Abbas(RA) said that “to worship Me” means “to knowMe”, because the actions of someone who does not know Allah cannot rightfully be called ‟worship‟ („Ibada). A person whodoes not know Allah cannot rightfully be called a human being!

“They are like cattle, or even more astray.”Allah has created the Jinn and Mankind and has abundantly bestowed His Blessings upon them--outwardly and inwardly from the beginning of creation until this time of ours, and has been benevolent towards them by sending Prophets &Messengers who called them to Allah.

When He sealed prophethood (Nubuwwa), He made the „Ulama to become the
inheritors of the Prophets and they became the callers to Allah. Indeed, each one of them have guided the creation to Allah.
Whosoever calls you to Allah has given good advice, but he who calls you to the Dunya has betrayed you, and whosoever
calls you to work, has only fatigued you.

The one who has really given you good advice is the one who calls you to Allah!
The Shaykh to be followed is the one who calls you to Allah--by both his words and his deeds--and his spiritual state raises
your Himma when you see him.

When he speaks, his words benefit you in the Presence of Allah, because he speaks withwisdom! Allah says, “And only a little of knowledge has been given to you.”(17:85); and “And he to whom wisdom isgranted has received abundant good.”(2:269). So, very little knowledge has been granted, but wisdom is an abundant
good!

True wisdom is that which is received from Allah without any intermediary--and it is granted to the heart of someone,
who although is not a Prophet, has received direct from the Lord, Glorious & Exalted is He!

It is the wisdom of Allah which
has been cast directly into the heart of the servant and it only passes through the mouth of the speaker, and he is the first
to benefit from such wisdom!

The wisdom of Allah is such that it penetrates into the hearts of people, while the words which only come from people
themselves does not reach beyond the ears of the listeners!

They only pass pronouncements that do not arrive to the heartand few who listen to them find any benefit in the speech of such people. In fact, if the speaker is profuse with such „egoistic‟ talking it will only harden his heart and the hearts of the listeners, and this is not what is meant by wisdom.

Although prophethood has ended, Allah has been abundantly kind to allow the enduring presence of their inheritors theright acting scholars who have each guided the servants to establish a connection to their Lord and have fortified them inthe knowledge that Allah shall inherit the Earth and whatsoever is on it!

Allah has joined us together on this auspicious occasion and in this blessed land and we ask Allah to increase it in its
sanctity.

The wisdom of Allah has declared that everything which is done without the goal of benefit is to wear the robe of playing and frivolity, and the actions of Allah are always done without frivolity!

He says, “Did you think that We had createdyou in play and without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?”(23:115).

This is addressed to the
„Arifin--those who have the Direct Witnessing of the actions of Allah--those who know there is a goal of benefit in every action of Allah.

The supreme objective of Allah is to benefit others in all that He does, and everything which is not done withthat aim and purpose is described as playing and without purpose. This is why the doctor is called “Hakim”, becauseeverything which he does is for the benefit of his patients and not himself.
